We’re excited to announce the launch of WelcomeCrawler.com, a new fan-built dungeon registry system for crawlers, collectors, compensated anarchists, and anyone else who hears the words “floor collapse” and gets excited

Along with the site launch, we’re also revealing our unofficial crawler board game:

Don’t Walk, Crawl!

Don’t Walk, Crawl! is a fast, ridiculous, floor-by-floor board game where players draft a team of Crawlers, choose who to send into each Floor, roll the die, trigger abilities, hit brutal Floor Tiles, collect Point Tokens, and try very hard not to get left behind when the Floor collapses.

The Crawl takes place over 4 Floors Due to budget cuts, obviously. At the start of each Floor, every player chooses one of their drafted Crawlers, reveals at the same time, and throws them into the dungeon. From there, it’s a race to the Finish Line, with Crawler Abilities and Floor Tiles turning even the simplest move into a tactical disaster with snacks.

The first two Crawlers to cross the Finish Line score points. Then the Floor collapses. After 4 Floors, the player with the highest score wins the Crawl.

Ties are settled the proper way: by rolling a die. Or by playing again to determine the one true winner. We support both violence and bureaucracy.

We’re bringing Don’t Walk, Crawl! to LitRPG Con, and we want you to come play with us.

Whether you’re a longtime crawler, a tabletop fan, a card-slinging rules lawyer, or someone who just enjoys watching tiny crawlers suffer for points, come find us at the con. We’ll be running games, showing off the deck, and letting people experience the terrible joy of sending their Crawlers into the meat grinder.

No experience required. Just show up, draft your Crawlers, roll the dice, and make peace with the fact that the dungeon does not care about your plans.

What Is WelcomeCrawler.com?

WelcomeCrawler.com is our home base. The site includes the companion rules for Don’t Walk, Crawl!, access to the Crawler deck, and more dungeon-flavored nonsense as we continue building out the system.

This is an unofficial fan project made by fans, for fans. It is not affiliated with the source material, but it was absolutely built with love, obsession, questionable judgment, and the kind of energy that makes people say, “Maybe you should sleep.”

We will not be sleeping.
